Heee. this post has been quite delayed!
the trip up to Ipoh was too good. we all had so much food that we almost couldn’t move at the last meal in Ipoh. right from the morning of Day 2, we had nice beef noodles at the eatery place below Auntie May’s agency.
the home made noodles mixed with mince pork with special sauce (similar to Chinese 炸酱面). And the bowl of mixed beef organs goes deliciously well with the noodle. Dip each piece of meat with a little of the house chilli and you will just start flying.

look at how everyone is busy enjoying their breakfast? yummy yummy.

after breakfast, we got back to the agency. auntie may and uncle lawrence had to head off to KLIA to pick up Auntie Rosemary who’s coming over from the States for their family reunion. after they are gone, we decided to head out for a spin instead of stoning around.
Here we see the best navigator and best driver of the world leading everyone in the car to Tesco.

scorching sun above us, almost BBQing us.

Racers on your mark…. Toyota Picnic vs Proton Wira.. who will win the trip to Ipoh? who will get there first? vroommmm…..

luckily for us passengers, we get to see much scenery along the way to Ipoh.

almost there almost there. just another 27km away…

and finally when we got to Ipoh, we head off to Auntie Janice’s house. the lodging place of the night. and after a quick washup, we head off to the best 芽菜鸡 stall in town. I was totally amazed by their service standard and timing. Upon ordering, food arrived with 3 mins.. and when we added some additional orders of noodles, they came like after 30 secs!! i’m serious. it’s not because the place has no business… on the contrary, the place was packed. their operations system is simply too good.

highly skilled ‘chopper’ ensuring us that we’ll get our plates of chicken on time!
