Chill Out

Sometimes, life just get so busy and frustrating that you just want to sit down after work to have a mug of beer and just not think of anything else. Tonight I was at Blooie’s with some friends again. Hmmm.. it’s Auntie May’s fav. hang out place so we are there many a times as she just lives opposite.

I Love Car Shows

Vividly I remember the old days when I won’t even bother to go to a single car show. In fact, last night I didn’t want to cross the road from Paragon to Takashimaya to get to the Peugeot Motorshow 2007 as I needed to get to Lucky Plaza to buy some calling cards. And as usual, Brother Dan jayed the road as thought walking across his car porch, not giving any of the on coming cars any attention while 99.9% of his mind was on the “lady”(maybe not) that was on the other side of the phone.

Anyways, luckily I decided to join Danny. The event was overwhelmed by beautiful ladies of all kinds. And we event met some new friends there.

countdown 2006

haha… okay. fine. it’s a bit late to post my countdown blog for 2006.

anyway, countdown was great fun. we went to St James Powerstation. upon reaching at 1030, the dragon queue was … just one word for St James.. “Great”

ZoukOut

yeah yeah yeah… zoukout was fun man… ahhh… finally i get to sit down and start penning again. i have been so busy over the last week that i don’t have time to start writing at my reverie. i was in fact in bangkok on Thursday night till saturday afternoon. went there for meetings with my director and top management people from Tops and Central. it was an extremely fruitful meeting. and my company’s expansion plans is on her way!! yeah yeah. and it’s great to be able to spearhead the projects.

oh.. this is the photo of the latest outlet in Bangkok Central World 7th Floor Central Food Hall. okay okay. the location name is mouthful but i’m sure u will find the place easily.

the design is not bad lar.. it’s a small outlet situated in a Food Hall (aka Supermarket or Hypermarket like Carrefour in singapore). Food Hall doesn’t equate Food Court!!!!

we basically have a conveyor belt of over 20 meters there with yippy bar stools and nice booth table seats for 6 pax. cool yah.. whether u are there to makan alone or with your girlfriend, boyfriend, family, friends, colleagues, bosses, subordinates, customers, clients …. u will sure to get a seat. and if you need to book the whole place for a little party, we can discuss!!!

ohoh… almost forgot about zoukout!! haha…

hee.. i went there to help Danny with his GXL booth then get to party too!!!! some more photos not in yet!!! my frendz are super slow… *grind teeth* … will upload them next time. the party was cool man.. lotz of gay people!! (upcoming photos)

DJs, dance, people all cool but only thing bad… the FOOD!!!

not the quality lar… but the PRICE. it’s so super sky high. i felt like an idiot to pay for a cha sau pao for $2.00. and it’s even smaller than a girl’s palm.

hee.. but the sausages sold were nice … oh.. with the mustart and chilli… haha..

this party is so attractive that i had several friends coming from Bangkok. they bought some package thingy in bangkok and flew here for a few days, just to attend zoukout. i guess it’s really happening that people are making their way here.

okay… i’m going to do something which i never did before liaoz.. hee… adios

Meet Your Old Friends

You never know when you will meet an old friend (not age lar…i’m very young ) whom you have not met for a long long time. Today I was at church for a ministry meeting and after the meeting, went to the bookshop. At the bookshop, i saw this really tall guy whom looked really familiar. yeah!! it’s raymond!! Raymond Aw… my army platoon mate.

Thinking back.. think i have not met him for almost 4, 5 years already since i ORDed. And it’s a real surprise that I met him in church… after missing church for 2 years. We went for dinner afterwhich and I realised that he has been in the same church for 6 mths already. hmmm… what miracles God can do to bring friends together.

And now it’s December. It’s time for the annual get-together lunch/dinner of the Lianhua Primary School Graduation Batch 1993. Last year was the first time we met up after 12 years. It was a class 6A lunch which we had at Marche but this year, it’s going to be opened to the entire Primary 6 batch. hmmm.. i wonder how many people will turn up this year.

it’s currently scheduled to be on the 29th Dec. 12pm. at Marche Suntec again!! year. hee… i guess it will be fun. sometimes, it can even be hysterical to see how someone has changed or remained unchanged after so many years.
